Are you looking for a dog trainer who can work with you and your dog in a dog training class or one-on-one setting to:
- Improve your dog’s manners at home
- Teach your dog to come when you call him
- Teach your dog to walk politely on leash
- Help you get started right with a new puppy
- Establish good behaviors that will last for the lifetime of your dog
- Build a solid foundation of skills for competitive dog sports
At CometDogU, our dog training programs are based on the latest scientific methods. We educate both dogs and owners using easy, force-free techniques. Students benefit from the convenience of small classes or individual instruction and customized instructor feedback. Students receive weekly emails that include homework plans with step-by-step instructions.
Life skills classes solve real-life challenges including pulling on leash, jumping on guests, dashing through open doors and more. For competitive sports, we layer advanced skills on a basic foundation to create competition readiness.
We offer positive dog training that fits your lifestyle, whether it’s group classes, day training, in-home training or private training at any of several training facilities. Dog training with CometDogU is fun for both you and your dog.
Dog Training Classes
Our life skills classes focus on basic obedience skills and companion dog manners. You and your dog will work on polite walking, come, sit, down, stay, attention, leave it and settling (on a mat or in a crate). Our more advanced manners classes focus on real world distractions. If you have a puppy or an adult dog, we have a class for you.
For competitive dog sport enthusiasts, we offer classes in rally obedience, competitive obedience, and the skills needed for agility. We also offer specialty classes to solve problems or develop specific skills.
Check out our calendar page for class schedules and pricing.
We are available for in-home and one-on-one personal training. These private lessons benefit students with schedule challenges or who desire to work on specific goals. They benefit dogs who would do better working individually rather than in a group. Classroom students also use private lessons to catch up on missed material, reinforce incomplete ideas and speed learning. Topics available include basic and advanced topics in manners, rally, obedience, competition preparation, trick training and more.
If you need help putting together a strengthening or stretching routine for your dog, we have you covered with our canine fitness program.
